When the owners come to pick up the pups they get a grooming demo on an adult dog, including one blowing coat. They also get to help bathe their new baby Sam! Here Cal is a bit big for the sink! But it is easier for his new Dad to help at the sink than in the bathtub. |

Cal looking VERY good with new mom & dad, Chuck & Cathy.

I tell the puppy's new folks that the pups are glad to leave me after I have subjected them to this!

Usually the pups not only survive the bath nicely, but actually feel very pleased with themselves and happy after a bath. There are exceptions!

Skyla shows the usual delight in being blown dry here. Although the pups have been accustomed to the noise and sensations of the blower from 5 weeks on, they still aren't crazy about it! |

Kida & new mom Jenni have nonetheless survived their first ordeal together, a real bonding experience! |

By the time Zoe was 10 months old and at her first away show, she is happy to be groomed, blower and all. That is the goal! A clean well-groomed Sam is a delight to behold, and a joy to be held! |

Just an example of why Bailey and Sunny might need to be cooperative about blowers & bathing! |

Besides, grooming, even foot hair and nail trims, can be fun! Zephyr took 3 hours to groom-- exceedingly long due to his copius coat--but loved every minute of it! Thank God! |
